Restaurants and Bars at Sofitel Silom

I would to say this hotel really offer you a wide selection of cuisines all served in uniquely designed surroundings. There are atleast 6 places you can hang out and enjoy good food and good drinks in this Hotel.

There is a lounge bar and library overlooking the Lobby and bustling Silom Road. Silom 188 is named after the hotel’s address. In Chinese, “188” pronounce as “Yi4 Fa1 Fa1” where it means getting rich and richer. Well, this is a good place for a relax drink whilst watching the world go by second by second.

On 2nd Floor, there is a Mistral Mediterranean restaurant. It is a modern and relaxed all day dining with a large selection of Southern France, the Mediterranean, Western, and Asian dishes.

One floor up on the 3rd floor, a Japanese cuisine is Nika-I is ready for food lovers and it is artfully blended with European influences in a modern atmosphere. For cakes and pastries lovers, Lenôtre at Hotel lobby level indulge in the vast selection at Bangkok’s finest French pâtisserie.

Well, the most attractive bar is located at level 37 in Sofitel Silom which is V9 WINE BAR & Restaurant. Chic and smart, yet a very relaxed and comfortable bar, offering a revolutionary unique concept for wine lovers in harmony with deliciously original New World Cuisine. Here you can enjoy innovative cuisine prepared by Chef Dominique Martinez while overlooking Bangkok’s sparkling skyline.

Shanghai 38 restaurant which located at level 38 (the highest) level of this hotel is specially created for Chinese food lovers who stay in this hotel. This restaurant specializing in Shanghai and Cantonese food: “Paris of the East”. A great place for either and “all-you-can-eat” Dim Sum lunch with more than 50 different items to choose or traditional Chinese dishes prepared by Master-Chef Jacky Chan. No doubt this is a sophisticated Chinese restaurant in Bangkok.

Less comfort/Inadequate of the Hotel

Well, what less comfort for this hotel is the car park. It is not well maintained and the lift from car park to reach hotel room and hotel lobby is not as 5 stars as it is. The outdoor swimming pool is not as big as you can imagine.
